The Vincent Black Shadow to Headline West Coast in New Year; New Album in the Works
November 2007 When they say there's no rest for the wicked, they must be talking about The Vincent Black Shadow. With the continued radio and video success of their single "Fears in the Water" from the album of the same name, The Vincent Black Shadow are hard at work touring, touring some more, and getting ready to work on a brand new album. After completing a short headline tour in the U.S. earlier this fall, singer Cassandra, the Kirkham brothers, and keyboardist Mary Ancheta hit the road with Silverstein in the U.K., where they'll wrap up in late December. The band will make their way home for the holidays, then get geared up to headline select dates on the West Coast of the U.S. in early January. On top of their busy touring schedule, the band is working on a new album. We don't know much about the new project but knowing The Vincent Black Shadow, it'll feature tasty hooks, mysteriously dark lyrics, and their unique rock cabaret style. November 2007 The Vincent Black Shadow are taking on American radio and making their mark on the airwaves – over 10 new stations have added "Fears in the Water" to their rotation. October 2007 The Bodog Battle $1 million recording contract winner Fall From Grace will play a free homecoming concert in Seattle with label-mate The Vincent Black Shadow. The free show on October 7 will feature the two Bodog bands rockin' out for Fall From Grace's hometown crowd and celebrating their Battle victory. September 2007 After a hugely successful run playing this summer's entire Vans Warped Tour, The Vincent Black Shadow are excited to kick off their fall. They just released a video for the title track of their album Fears in the Water which was directed by Dale Restighini (Fall Out Boy, Hatebreed). August 2007 Bodog Music recently brought its unique, high-class brand of entertainment to the Warped Tour in Camden, N.J. last week, and Fuse was there to film the mayhem in full. Stars from some of the biggest bands on the Warped Tour sat down face to face as they vied to win it all in Bodog Music's Texas Holdem event. The night�s highlights included The Vincent Black Shadow's Rob Kirkham interviewing many of the players. August 2007 The Vincent Black Shadow took advantage of a few days off while out on the Vans Warped Tour to shoot a video for their upcoming single, "Fear's in the Water." The band stopped in Atlanta to shoot the killer video with producer Dale Restighini who has worked with bands like Fall Out Boy, Hatebreed and Trivium, and many more. The band also had a great time at Bodog Music's Warped Tour poker event with guitarist Rob Kirkham taking over as guest host for Fuse's coverage of the event where he interviewed many of the stars from the tour. July 2007 All four members of The Vincent Black Shadow graced the cover of the June 28 issue of The Georgia Straight, Canada�s largest urban weekly. June 2007 The Vincent Black Shadow is psyched to return this year for another run on The Vans Warped Tour. The band will be playing every date on one of the summer's hottest tours -- this time on a premier stage! The tour includes such heavyweights as Coheed and Cambria, A Static Lullaby, The Used, Killswitch Engage and Bad Religion. The Warped Tour Launches June 29 in Pomona, CA. April 2007 BodogMusic recording artist The Vincent Black Shadow has been very busy as of late and show no signs of slowing down. They are currently amping up for another international tour in support of their premiere release, "Fears In The Water." They are currently finishing up the last leg of a National UK tour with headliner Halifax, before jetting off to Europe mid April to commence a 5 week tour with UK's Kosheen. If that's not enough, The Vincent Black Shadow will then be heading right back out on the road for punk rock "summer camp," The Vans Warped Tour 2007. The band finished all 50 dates on last year's Warped Tour, and have been asked to return again. The bands single "Metro" is creating huge buzz at Radio and video channels. It charted No. 1 on Fuse's "Guilty Pleasures" countdown, and beat out huge bands such as 'Panic! At the Disco' on the network's "Oven Fresh," and now the video is ripping it up on MTVU's "The Freshman". Make sure you visit the Tour page to check if TVBS is playing in your city! November & December 2006 The Vincent Black Shadow performed at the Bodog Music showcase at CMJ Music Marathon 2006 on Nov. 1 with rave reviews. The band is currently in heavy rotation on alternative radio stations, going to number one phones on KACV in Amarillo, Texas, and beating out My Chemical Romance and Gnarls Barkley with �Metro.� |
